Dracaena cochinchinensis PDEVs is a collection of plant-derived extracellular vesicles (PDEVs) isolated and purified from the culture supernatant of Dracaena cochinchinensis (Dragon's Blood Tree), a Class II nationally protected plant.
Traditional harvesting of dragon's blood resin requires felling wild trees and has severely damaged the ecosystem. Botalaya® produces the material at laboratory scale under aseptic cell culture, with PCF (Plant Cell Fermentation) equipment precisely controlling light, temperature and nutrient supply. No trees are felled, geographic and seasonal constraints are removed, and every batch shows highly consistent chemical composition and biological activity.
