Liver protection / alcohol relief: ethanol-induced HepG2 apoptosis fell from 34.8% to 21.0%; in alcoholic liver injury mice, ALT dropped 82 → 19 U/L, AST 98 → 32 U/L and hepatic lipid vacuole area 40.8% → 14.4%.
Antioxidant: serum MDA fell 11.35 → 6.81 nmol/mL in D-galactose aging mice, with SOD and GSH-Px recovering to 172 U/mL and 241 U/mg.
Anti-aging: type I collagen in human dermal fibroblasts rose 152.6 → 259.2 ng/mL while MMP-1 fell 42.6 → 24.1 ng/mL, via the novel ATF6 target.
Anti-fatigue: loaded swimming time +76.2%, hepatic glycogen +68.8%, blood lactate −44.6%, serum urea −37.2%.
Anti-inflammatory: dose-dependent inhibition of NO, TNF-α, IL-6 and PGE2 via TLR4/NF-κB. A three-month randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human trial (n ≥ 50 valid per group) showed serum MDA −13.93%, SOD +10.39% and GSH-Px +9.92% (all P < 0.01).
